FIBA International Trade Finance

Specialist Certificate

Learn from a combination of e-Learning, classroom training, and case studies. Students will begin the training through 16.5 hours of required e-learning for International Trade Services and the UCP 600.

Students will then spend two days in intensive classroom learning with case studies, analysis of examples from banks, and will participate in simulations.  The learning objective in the classroom session is to provide students with the opportunity to look at the “real world” scenarios which they will see at their banks.  Participants will decide which kind of risks are involved, which products are most appropriate, and what to recommend and why. This training is appropriate for bankers with less than 3 years experience in trade finance, who want to advance in their profession.
